Cakes

Paul and Anastasia have over the past months been asked to make several cakes for clients, some of these are brand new clients who asked us if we could do this on the strength of tasting samples of our other products.

We will give you the cakes we make on this page to perhaps give you inspiration if you'd like us to make a cake for you.

Victoria Sponge Cake

A basic Victoria Sponge cake is two layers of sponge with Jam between the layers, we've added a little decadence by piping in Creme Chantilly (Sweetened Vanilla Cream) with the Jam

Mini Victoria Sponge Cake

Mini Victoria Sponge Cakes are just that Mini versions of the larger variety, the only difference is we tend to use a Lemon Buttercream instead of Whipped Chantilly Cream with the jam.

Triple Layer Cake with Cream and Raspberries

A triple layer cake, we have vanilla sponge on top and bottom and chocolate in the middle, with layers of Creme Chantilly and raspberries between each layer, then topped with Cream Chantilly all around and raspberries on top.

Chocolate Orange Sponge with Rum Ganache

We have a double layer of Chocolate Orange Sponge with a layer of Chocolate Rum Ganache between then coated in the same Ganache with a nice gloss.

Chocolate Sponge Cake with a Chocolate Mint Ganache

Two layers of Chocolate sponge cake with a layer of Chocolate Mint Ganache between, then topped all over with the chocolate mint ganache  with a high gloss and then finished with fresh mint leaves.

Lemon Sponge with Lemon Buttercream and Fondant with Chocolate Work

Two layers of Lemon Sponge Cake with a layer of Lemon Buttercream between then coated in Lemon Buttercream with Rolled Fondant on top then Chocolate Work, and Lemon Buttercream piped round base.

Orange Chocolate Ganache Cake

A double layered Vanilla Victoria Sandwich with Raspberry Jam and Vanilla Buttercream in the middle then coated in a rich dark chocolate orange ganache and sprinkled with dried orange peel

White Chocolate Ganache - Chocolate Cake with 
Chocolate Work on Top

A double layered Chocolate Victoria Sandwich with Raspberry Jam and Vanilla Buttercream in the middle then coated in a rich White chocolate  ganache and topped with Chocolate Musical Symbols & notes.

A Triple layered Vanilla Victoria Sandwich with Coffee Buttercream in the middle then coated in a rich Dark Chocolate and Coffee ganache, topped with a White Chocolate Triskele Symbol, Similar to that used on the Taiko Drums

Vanilla Sponge with Coffee Buttercream Filling covered in a Rich Dark Chocolate Coffee Ganache

Although not strictly a cake. We made it for TAO: Drum Heart

A Rich Dark Chocolate Mousse, made of Dark Chocolate, Whipped Heavy Cream and Whipped Egg Whites, into which is Added the Raw Egg Yolks, Bacardi Spiced Rum and Orange Oil.

It is then poured into a Bowl made out of Dark Chocolate and decorated with Whipped Cream and Dried Orange Peel

Strawberry & Cream Layer Cake

Basic Victoria Sandwich Cake without jam but using fresh strawberries in the middle and on top, with a sweetened whipped cream (Creme Chantilly) with a dash of peppermint oil mixed into it to give a fresh taste and to bring out the flavor of the strawberries
